Make sure you are not running anything in the background, like ICQ/E-mail/Messanger/VIrus protection ...

If that does not help then:
Please run a DirectX Diagnostic:
Start menu –Run - then type Dxdiag, then select each tab across the top of the window, and run the tests on each tab. Then select “Save All Information” button in the lower right of the window. This will bring up a dialog box to allow you to select a name for the file where the information will be saved. You can save it right on the desktop as this will make it easy to find. Then copy the contents of that file from the start to the heading that says “DirectX components” then paste what you have copied into a post in this thread.
 
Upgrade to DirectX9.0B
Upgrade your video driver and see it there is a new one for your Audio card as well.
Also make sure your windows is up to date with all the patches.

You are a little low on memory for useing XP.
 
Did you do the rest as well?
 
Okay we do not support user made mods for obvious reasons.

Do a complete wipe of the game then a fresh reinstall from CD then just 1.08 patch, then do you still have the problem?

And have you updated the other stuff I mentioned earlier?
 
I am a little confused.
You tried it on two different computers running two different operating systems and you had identical problems?
And you have remembered to keep renaming the AVI folder and setting the color depth to 16BIT everytime you reinstall or install a patch.
 
I think we may be having a language problem here.

You say you have trouble with the load screen, but it crashes 30 minutes after you load?

Do you still have any Mods like EEP installed on the game?

If you get the same problem on another machine then you must have something in common between the two that is causing the problem.
Run the DirectX diagnostic on that machine as well and post the results here like you did before.
 
Can you please clear up the other things I mentioned in my last post.
