SKIF would be so awesome.

And not to be mean, but the current icon graphics kinda suck. Maybe in the future the DH team could have an option to have the original HoI2 style icon graphics?

Not SKIF, but Fransesco's mod looks great.

i would have to second this, Fransesco's mod is ace and I can't see myself ever playing hoi3 without it again. So when he releases it for DH i'll defo be right on it

Actually there is already something like this, if you follow the link in my signature :) I just released fresh version of HoI2 style model graphics (altho they are slightly modified).

I'm currently working on converting a Skif set for me and my friends also have to come up0 with some new ones especially for the 1870-1907 IN For example

Made Some Generic Graphics:

SKIF made AOD (my first HOI experience) awesome. I'm alright with most of the graphics in DH, but the navy in particular I think is an odd mix that just doesn't seem to flow.

I'm no master graphic artist, so to at least have some uniformity I made generic icons for all/any navy for Darkest Hour Full (except for those where you already have nation specific ones added). I ported over a select few Kriegsmarine ones for myself, but I only am updating those as I need to, and they aren't included in the attachment.

Attached are the generics I put together. I recommend backing up originals first, then extract the files in the .rar to the directory:
..\Darkest Hour\Mods\Darkest Hour Full\gfx\interface\models\

WHat do you think

Normally When I put together a skiff Set I have enough icons that usually all you have to do is really change the name and change the Model number on the Skiff. Well with DH and its models that start at 1870 you dont find much for pre 1914. SO im trying my hand at actually making them heres my first try it still does need some work but im planning on it being the 1870 model for US cavalry. Any advice in actually how to make skiffs is appreciated as tutorials are had to come by too.
