Skip the Intro?

I have just started playing EU2. I love the intro stained glass visuals, however I don't want to watch them every time I play.

Is there any way to skip the intro? a setting? a key to press?

In the german version this would be the Escape-Key.

You can also simply rename the avi folder to avi_old and you'll skip them perminently.
