Hello,
I have reported this in the bug forum and have sent a saved game but the status is 'invalid' (bug number 4903).
Since you are not able to reproduce this bug (this is why it is invalid right?) I assume it has something with my OS or hardware.
I have uninstalled and reinstalled HoI and applied patch 1.03b - the problem is still there.
Short information about my problem:
1) I load my saved game (date: 1936 May 2) and my production sliders have the following values from the loaded file:
Consumer goods: 187.1
Supply: 117.6
Science: 35.6
Production: 35.7
2) I change the sliders to:
Consumer goods: 187.1
Supply: 117.6
Science: 71.3
Production: 0
3) I lock the sliders (!)
4) 6 May 1936 Italy annex Ethiopia ==> my production sliders are automatically reset to:
Consumer goods: 188.3
Supply: 118.2
Science: 35.8
Production: 35.8
The difference from the values at 1) is probably due to decreasing dissent.
This happens every time!
Information about my settings:
Game version: HoI 1.03b, PAN.
