I just re-downloaded Stellaris on my portable computer, after having uninstalled it for wile, so I can continue my galactic adventures when I'm moving around (I usually play Stellaris on a tower computer), but I ran into some issues with the launcher. I've linked some screenshots to this post so you can clearly see what that's about.
First problem is that the launcher is very slow to load. It needs something like 1 minute of loading time. The second probelm is that I can't access any of the mods I use anymore due to an error concerning the database path. I've tried to look for solutions online, unfortunatly I didn't find anything exactly related to that. I tried to uninstall/reinstall both the launcher and the game and to reboot my computer but none of those resolved those problems and I'm stuck with the same error message and slow loading time.
I play the game on Steam. I'm on windows 11. On that same machine, I'm playing to other games using the Paradox launcher that are working flawlessly as well as the mods (AoW4, CK3). It's just a problem with Stellaris somehow. The game works fine otherwise.
Well this post is a little messy, I'm apologizing for that... Rather than writing a whole bunch of different subjects, I thought it would be better to just mix up everything in a single post. Another issue I have on that computer with Stellaris is that the text scaling is really small for some reason and I can't find how to fix it in the settings. It's also not a problem I have when I'm playing other Paradox games. My computer resolution is 3840x2160 and the text scaling is set up at 250%.
I'm clueless about what to do so I'd be grateful for any help. Thanks in advance!
