If any of these can already be done and I simply don't know about them, please tell me how! Otherwise, here are a few improvement suggestions that I think are simple to implement and would provide more info to make the game experience better.

1.) Army Builder:
In the army builder, you can see a list of different armies that you can recruit, but you don't see any info about strength / damage / morale etc. You need to build one or dive into other views to see that info. Adding this to a tooltip (or even better, as a stat in the list) would be great.
Also, if you don't have enough minerals to recruit the army, then this is not obvious: You just click on it an nothing happens. Having the list grey-out or turn red or whatever would make this scenario clearer.

2.) Mercenaries
The galactic council policy where you have to hire mercenaries when going to war (or give up naval capacity) is annoying enough, but it is exacerbated by normally not being able to see which clans are available for hire (most aren't). You have to go to the contacts list, click through each one, and see if they have fleets available. There could be multiple ways of solving this: Having a tooltip or column in the contacts view that shows it, a separate info screen (maybe a tab on fleet manager). Whatever. But currently it is painful.

Feel free to add others.

Research
I want to be able to see which techs get bonuses from research agreements. When a research agreement is proposed, there is a list detailing the number of each branch of technologies that can be shared / learned, and an expanded tip detailing the names would be nice.
More importantly, when I go to select a tech that is about to be researched, I'd like the research bonus & breakdown to be available in the tech picker when you hover over the cost. This would tell you the bonii, including any from research agreements.

Migration Treaties
I'd like a tooltip telling me the species preferences with the empire under consideration for the treaty.

Diplomatic Agreements in general
I want to know the influence cost of the agreement in the proposal screen. Having to remember which agreements cost which amount is annoying, when it could just be a tooltip. It could even be: This agreement will cost us 0.25 influence / month. Currently, our monthly gain is +2.27 / month.

Assigning Scientists
When trying to assign a scientist directly from the archeology screen, clicking the assign box only brings up the list of scientists in your empire that aren't currently assigned / busy. It should bring up the full list, including allowing you to recruit additional ones (i.e. work exactly the way it works for assigning commanders to fleets, but for scientists).

Minor Artifact Cooldowns
I'd like to be able to see how long the remaining cooldown is on minor artifact effects. When you activate one, it moves it to the bottom of the list (which is good), but putting it in a completely separate section ("Effects on cooldown") would be even better, with the tooltip telling you time remaining (like government agenda cooldowns).

L-Cluster Empire Boundaries
I'd like these to be rendered, just like main empire boundaries. It's really hard to see who controls what.

Edit- Seems to appear after a reload, so is this a bug?

Trade Production in Planets & Sectors view
The planets and sectors view shows net production (output) of each sector, and you can then drill-down to get plant-by-planet, which is helpful. However, trade is not displayed as its own icon - it is included with the rare resources. Showing trade separately would be useful (even for just choosing a planet to nominate for the galactic market relocation)
