Just purchased EU2 today (on sale at Comp USA for $35 
) and installed the latest patch. Everything seems to run fine with one small exception: the sounds don't quite work right.
Oddly, each particular sound effect works properly the first time it's needed. For example, if I click on an army, I hear the "click", but if I ever try to click on an army again, there is no sound. Same for all the other sounds. They work the first time, then never again. I tried turning the music completely off but that does not help any.
It's really kind of a minor issue but it is kind of annoying not to have sound. Any ideas on what could be causing this?
