Austria
1936
(WWI never happened)

The world lies in a state of no trust. Eight empires who wish to dominate. Two alliances battle it out for total supremacy. Germany, Austria, Russia, China, England, France, Italy and The Ottomans.

Germany, Austria and Italy share the same alliance.

England, France and all their minors share another.

China, Russia and The Ottomans still lay out of everything as neutral countries but how long will it last?

Germany looks towards France as a way of expansion. Her access to the Atlantic ocean will provide Germany with much freedom.
Italy wishes to re-create her Roman Empire of ancient days for a new golrious empire.
Austria looks to Russia where she would like to expand to the Black Sea to provide an acess to the Middle East.
China Though already a large empire wishes to expand down into the lands of India and French Indo-China.
Japan Masters of Islands. Japan wishes to control the entire Pacific with no opposing armies.
Russia The largest standing country. Everybody wants some of Russia. Her most feared enemies lay west of her.
The Ottomans The largest empire of the Middle East. Her boarders rival with Persia and England. Two areas in which she wishes to expand.


England And France Already established empires they wish mostly to keep rival empires at bay. Germany has been creating a Navy in which to rival the Royal Navy.

In 1934 a man by the name of Adolf Hitler came into power, Leader of Germany. A little boy born originaly in North Western Austria he would be a master of politics and lead Germany.

Im not feelin well ATM I got a major headache but Ill tell you what I did. I just edited the boarders pretty much. I took out some events like the china japanese war. The nationalist spain still happens but Im just going to forget about that and not even add it.

I also made me(Austria) leader of the axis. I didnt want countries like Argentina joining unless I want them to. There is still a commitern but its only Russia which i left as the Soviet Union. Chinas boarders pretty much ate up mongolia, tannu tova, tibet and siakang.

Introduction

January 1st, 1936

Adolf Hitler, a brave nationalist who recently had gained control of Germany had just placed a succesfull coup in Austria. Hitler's henchmen dressed in their Nazi uniforms stormed the streets of the Austrian Capital armed and dangerous. With their rifles they dashed through the streets into the Austrian Palace where the old Monarch Leader would be layed to rest. With a swift, yet accurate shot to the face the old leader was dead. He lay slumped in his chair, blood dripping to the floor. The Empire was now in a state of Anarchy, however this would not last as a new leader under Hitler was put into power. Arthur Seyss-Inquart assumed control of the country.

As it stands Austria is the largest and most powerfull country between Germany and Italy therefor they are still leaders of the Grand Alliance.

Austrias new leader, born and raised as a pure blood Austrian quickly grew cold of the small Yugoslavian country. He was once quotes as, "This land is ours, that country will cease to exist shall I ever gain control of this country."
Arthur nearly declared war on the country right away, but before he could Hitler stoped him in his tracks.

"NOT YET!" Hitler yelled.

"Why the hell not, I need this land."

"Give it time, I soon see france as a target for me and Mussulini. I need this land and I do not want to upset the allies before I am ready. I do not know the exact date when I will invade but it will be sometime in 1939. At this time you may take your territory."

"I accept your idea Hitler."


Arthur was a headstrong man known to overeact and sometimes make decisions before thinking about them. However he was a very smart man who knew the way to lead a country and a master of politics. He nearly always got what he wanted.
 
Backround

In 1914 the world was on the brink of war. A 19 year old boy in Sajreavo was on a mission to assinate the Archduke. However the Austrians had him heavily guarded. There was a leak and the boy's mission was found out. However they let him continue with his plan. A trap was set for him at the staging grouds. Three Austrian snipers using the new Kar98 rifle were waiting for him. They had a picture of him as well.

Eugen Beyer, who is now the Cheif Of Army in Austria found him. He waiting untill he left the croud and with the slight pull of a finger one .303 round left the muzzle of his rifle and struck the 19 year old boy right between his eyes.

The story was carried off as a murder by a man in the croud. That did not go over well as one of the other snipers who left the military told the story. That man was shortly disposed of.


In 1929 a new technology was discovered. They called it tank, a German invension(yeah I know) it was a large metal bodied...car. It was an Armored Fighting Vehicle. It originally carried 3 machine guns and 1 30mm cannon but was soon updated. Now in 1936 they are highly advanced. They carry a 30mm cannon and can travel at speeds up to 40km/h on the road. Early tanks would hit 20km/h on a good day and were easily destroyed.

In the 1910s and 20s lots of work went into the production of aircraft, in 1931 an Austrian inventor created the "monoplane". At first he was insulted greatly butin the 1932 Olympics in some country aircraft racing was introduced. He easily won the gold medal. He named his plane the One Wing Biplane, which made no sense at all.


In 1933, Sweden wished to expand her small boarders to control most of Scandinavia. It took two years and in March 1935 Norway fell to Swedish troops. It cost thousands of lives and the world was shocked. Hitler greatly despised this and he wished to control Sweden himself, though he loved the Swedish women.

In 1934 there was a large revolt in former Russia. High support costs and little food caused a "Communist" revolt througout Russia. At first the capital was formed at Vladislavstock and there was the Soviet Union of the east and the Russia of the west. In 1935 the Soviets declared war on Russia on occupied all of their territories with little military resistance. The reign of the Russia Czars was over and the citizens roamed the streets with joy. All this happened under the Soviet leader Joseph Stalin.

In late 1935 the Ottoman Empire recieved it's territorial demands for the Suez by the English. The English frown upon that and they shall get it back.

Confrence Between The Grand Alliance
New years day, 1936



Arthur..."Welcome all to my home and capital, Vienna, Austria. It is here our legacy shall begin. We, though powerfull cannot take on the entire allied force by ourselves. The Austrian and Italian industries are nothing compared to the Industry that you have under your power Hitler. My next three years will be spent trying to upgrade my industrial capacity, I suspect the same with Mussulini. Right now the new communist threat poses to threat to me as I have created large fortifacations along my boarder with them. Romania, though weak I plan to soon invite to the alliance."

Hitler..."Arthur I know what you speak of. I shall try and create an army large enough to supply us for the first year should a war start, then I think you can catch up. How is the problem going with you and the serbs?"

Arthur..."They dont know what is comming to them, they will soon find themselves surrounded. Untill then I must try and cope with the attacks they are making againsed our soldiers stationed there."

Mussulini.."I am not sure if any of you know but I am now at war with Albania. It dosnt give me much exept access to the Indian Ocean and another base on which to attack the British need I do so. They will not put up too much of a restistance. I have 10 divisions of infantry down there. There are no roads so I suspect it may take a while to capture the entire country."

Arthur..."Well done Mussulini. By the way, I have a plan to bring some more friends into our alliance. Spain.
The people of spain are not happy with their current government. They are poor and are in need of food and money. There is a man there...Franco. I do not know when the date is but he is assembling an army to counter the current one in Spain. I hope I can count on you to help him."

Hitler..."I do plan to test out some of my new equipment...Have you seen that big He111 yet? Oh, it is so fun to ride on and damn it is fast. Smooth ride too, I plan to make that one of my mainstreem bombers."

Mussulini..."Hmm, I dont have much. I suppose I could send in some Mc.200 fighters and some land divisions. I don't have much."

Arthur..."And you never have had much"

Mussulini..." Ah shaddup a yo face! Wassamata wit you!"

Hitler *Laughs*

Arthur..."Im just messing around with you, now go make me a spaghetti."
 
1936-1937

1936-1937

A quiet year in the Austrian Empire. Much of the industry was spent to improving it. In order to compete with the allies the Austrians would need an industry that could crank out tanks, ships, planes and other weapons with no problem. This year light 40mm tanks were created. Much thanks to the Germans who gave us the prototype for it. The Italians have given us some technology that would help us for our navy. We are in the process of creating some basic 350mm Battleships. Our navy is a spec of what the Royal Navy has, the German Kreigsmarine is slowly growing. The Italians have the largest navy of them all but it is hopelessly outdated.

On the 11th of April, 1936 Italy finnaly annexed the country of Etheopia. Now Italy has two parts of Africa on which Mussulini can launch assults from. Now we are the only Empire in the Grand Alliance not to have any colonies in other parts of the world. Germany has parts in east and west Africa. With that said we still have the largest land mass in the continent of Europe itself.

On the 19th of July Arthur's plans began. The Spanish Civil War had begun. Germany sent many of it's new planes to be tested out in the conflict. Germany He111 bomers and Bf109 fighters were sent to the conflict.

The German 109s were by far the most advanced fighters at the time. With two machine guns and two 20mm cannons they packed a punch. They were very fast and could outrun any opposition. They had a short range however...

One thing we did not expect was Soviet intervention in the civil war...Surely this was not good. The Soviets were helping the republicans. This civil war was like a war fought through a puppet. This wouldn't be good in forthcomming times. The red equipment was nowhere near as good as the German ones though.

This I-16 attacked a formation of He111s, shortly a 109 shot it out of the sky.

On the 20th of September Britzelmayr was executed at the order of Arthur for sharing secrets with the allies.
 
No clue, at first I thought it was IL2 Sturmovik...But that game looks 10x better than that. I just seached up I16 on Altavista...You wouldnt believe some of the results I got from that...I saw I16 pr0n :rofl:

Anyways ill get in another update today.

A much more porfitable year in Austria

Talks have gone on, many diplomatic talks. For the last three months the Austrians have been talking with the largest empire of Asia. The Chinese, the most populated empire in the world with millions of men at their disposal. On the 12th of January they joined the Grand Alliance. A French soldier was quoted..." Oh god, I think I should just surrender now."

The allies did not like the idea of China joining the Austrian alliance, mostly because they were the most powerfull country of Asia. French Indo-China was now surrounded by other empires whishing to expand. The Chinese and the Japanese.

Arthur..."This is perfect, with the joining of China nobody will want to piss us off now. At this very moment thousands of men in China are going under military training. I bet the reds are thinking over their choice to join the Spanish Civil War."

Hitler..."Silly Soviets, nobody messes with the superior Germanic people."

Mussulini..."What about Italians?"

Arthur+Hitler... "...."

Mussulini... "?"

Some Chinese guy..."Hello"

Arthur..."Why hello, leader of China, your name would be?"

Some Chinese guy..."You would not be able to pronounce it, just call me John."

Mussulini..."I have a friend named John."

All exept Mussulini *shakes their head and look down*

Mussulini..."Okay what now?"

Arthur..."You are an idiot. Ive never seen anybody take so long to take over a lousy country nobody has every heard of. You better perform well once the war begins or I will claim your territory."

Mussulini..."Is that a threat?"

John..."Think about it."

Mussulini..."Ooooooh. Okay....So is that a threat."

Everybody exept Mussulini leaves while he sits there puzzled.


March 10th

Spanish Civil War Ends

Franco..."We have won!!!"

*Loud Cheering of Soldiers*

Franco..."This could not of been done without help from our friends in Germany, Austria and Italy. Mostly Germany and Austria though. The aid of the German bombers struck fear into the hearts of our enemies. We now are officially a new country. Live long and exiting lives in the new Spain!"

*Loud Cheering*

Hitler..."Oh man, oh boy! Hazuuuah! You see my bombers! They were amazing. Mussulini's fighters did jack, they recorded 1 kill. No losses but only one kill! Hahaha, my 109s killed hundreds of the Spanish used Soviet fighters!"
