So, I set up my character and was set and ready to play, but it turns out I had the 7996 start date selected instead of 7998... So I was wondering if there was any way for me to trigger Aegon's Conquest or do I have to start from scratch???? Normally it would not be a big deal, but I edited my game and it took time e.g. cleansing my court of idiots via the all powerful kill cheat etc....

Sadly I think you have too restart from square one. I have made this mistake a few times and it does not get any less frustrating.

In the console you could try 'event aegons_landing.1 77000'. I'm not 100% sure it will work perfectly though.
