Playing as Targs from Aegon the Conqueror start, almost 300 years in. Now I'm not sure if the 30 people in the court limit that stops new children is in the mod or not but if so I have a problem because I have a court of 55 and more then half are just random (mostly wild) dragons of varying sizes.

Is there a way I can deal with this if the court limit is the issue? (I realize I could use the console to kill the excess dragons but I'd rather not as having backup dragons is useful)

Have yourself a good ol' succession war. Put someone with a good claim on the throne in a powerful position and wait for the shit to hit the fan. In lore, after the Dance of Dragons, Targaryen power in Westeros was the weakest it's ever been, all thanks to the decline of the dragons due to the Dance.
