So, problems with crashing upon saving.

Pretty much for 42 years I have been playing as the Prince of Dorne in my Orys Baratheon campaign, and I haven't until this one experienced a crash to desktop before while saving. It crashes upon auto saving, quick saving, and eventually while in the middle of going through the save game menu.

I haven't had this problem before in one of my much larger campaigns (A targaryen dynasty ruling over Ghiscar) which lasted well until the 8080s until I finally stopped it. This problem is making the campaign pretty unbearable to play, and it feels like a waste of effort.

So I really don't want to start a new campaign yet. I mean what is the point of continuing if I have to restart from the last checkpoint only for it to crash two months later when the yearly autosave kicks in?

Not sure if this was supposed to go somewhere else, but really I am just tired of it.

I want to note I have absolutely no sub mods on either so those clearly aren't a factor here.

Can you upload a save where this is repeatable? Also, are you using any submods?

I happened to try this mod on a PC and found that it didn't crash on saving there. Normally I play on a Mac, where saving always crashes.

I'm having the same problem on Linux, and I can't upload a save game because I can't make one...

Steps to reproduce:
1. Start custom game setup.
2. Change the date (I've tested both 31 December 8297 and 4 March 8299)
3. Pick a character (I've tested Lord Paramount Eddard Stark and King Robert Baratheon in 8297; and King Robb Stark and King Joffrey Lannister/Baratheon in 8299)
3. Start game
4. Save game
5. CTD

Same problem here, bout a century in and the game can't save anymore.
I'm not entirely sure if the save game is still usefull, since I've had some (not saving related) chrashing earlier because I put the games speed too high. I don't recall having any earlier problesm with crashing on saving.

Letting it run into the new year and then saving has the game crashing(but not when saving in this year, haven't tried 1st of january though)

I have the exact same issue on Windows 7. Playing a dynasty on Father's Hill and suddenly nearly every time I want to save it cashes. Does not matter if auto or regular save, compressed or normal. I did a few test runs and thee is a 1/5 chance that it actually saves (which is not really usable).

I am having the same issue. After the game passes a certain date in my game, it will crash everytime I try to save. It can be an auto save or a manual save.
