Stellaris has now been released and Hearts of Iron 4 will arrive in a few weeks. Do we know anything about PDS' upcoming in-game projects, like how many are currently being developed, project codenames, when we can start getting clues for them, etc? I'm not asking for real concrete information, like if it's Victoria 3/Rome 2 or stuff like that. Anything like that is under NDA's until they are revealed, so asking for it is useless. But do we know anything at all about upcoming projects?

All I know is that there were three projects mentioned long time ago, and neither of them is still announced, those are Titus, Tiberius and project Dallas which is co-funded(13%) by EU.I have no idea if these are sequels or new games.

EDIT: Since Stellaris and Runemaster were new games, I assume at least 2 of these are sequels.

Tiberius rings a bell. Can't remember if that was HoI4, the Norse mythology game( Runemaster, was it?) or Stellaris, though.

I think it's safe to assume Dallas is something new, but that leaves Titus. I'll guess we'll see at the end of summer or something, since all currently revealed in-house games will have been released for a few months by then.
 
HoI4 was Armstrong, Stellaris was Augustus and Runemaster was Project Nero I think.So Tiberius could still be anything.
Ah, interesting. That answers the question in the OP, thanks.
 
If I was a betting man I'd lay a few that Vic 3 is being worked on but is probably at least a couple years away and they are holding off announcing to avoid a repeat of the HoI IV delay scenario.

Stellaris was Augustus... Augustus was another name for Dallas.
 
So Stellaris is project Dallas? Are you sure?

Its just another name for Project Titus.
Stellaris is Augustus, not Titus... so Dallas/Titus needs to be something else.

Does anyone know what the code name for the Clausewitz Maya exporter was, if it even had one?
 
I really want the next project to be rome 2

Vic3 will most likely be before Rome 2, but Rome 2 will most likely have its day in the sun.

We have marginally more info on Vic3.

We know that at PDS they have a document full of concepts for Vic3 (originally for Vic2 expansions). We also know Podcat is interested in being Vic3's internal champion, after he's done with HoI4.

Ah. Well I was hoping Rome 2 would come out next; seems like all they do with rome 2 is troll us about it. Maybe paradox just doesn't care for rome or a classical game.

Rome 2 will have its day, but for now they're probably trying to cover the generational gap between EUIV and HoI4.

And they have said that they wanted to cover the entirety of human history.

Just gonna take some time, that's all.
