So, when will the opinion bugs when using ANY mod be fixed?

Namely, the +20 Entrusted Ward and the +10 Released Prisoner opinion modifiers that does not work if you use any mod what so ever, even mods that do not even touch said files.
Any word from Paradox yet? I see nothing in the stickies about it.. It's pretty sad to see all these amazing mods being created, and I can't bring myself to play them knowing those things gets borked :/

I am currently using the Rise of Empires mod and the +25 Mentor & +10 Released Prisoner opinion modifiers are working correctly..

Mine works fine. I modded the event modifier file which contain both those modifiers, but no problem so far.

The ward thing IS wonky from what I can see... but the release prisoner one works for me.

Mine are working fine, too. Check your vassal opinions directly from their character portrait screens, just in case the problem is an incomplete or inaccurate list of modifiers from, say, the prison screen, etc.

I too agree, sometimes it works, sometimes it won't... I'm using CK2Plus as well.. (and never had an issue with the release prisoners...)

Naturally these are all "my own children" so I know it's suppose to be kicking in, and yes it doesn't even show in the opinion modifer either.

Hmm, granted i never tried the mods you guys mentioned. But with both the More Kingdoms & Empires mod (on it's own), and the Bella gerant alii mod it did not.
Heck, I even had a tiny mod that did nothing but alter the names of dukes, and those opinion modifiers were still not working.

I guess it is a semi-random odd little entry in specific mods that causes the issue. I hope it is discovered soon.

Or it's related specifically to the mods you mentioned, or running just those mods, together. Test out other mods and those mods each by themselves, and consider letting the appropriate modders know if their work has issues.
