Hello everyone!

Terribly sorry if this is a stupid question, but allow me to explain. I recently downloaded the mod, it's been a ton of fun so far and I've decided to play as one of my favorite groups within the Game of Thrones universe: the wildlings!

Now, I'n not sure if this was a bit earlier than intentional but... well, I recently united the wildling tribes under Raymun Redbeard. While he died young, his son managed to unite launch two wars against the night's watch. The second was a -massive- success and now the wall has fallen, it's lands being divided amongst the wildling lords.

...And yet, I've now reached an impasse. I'm not really sure what else to do or, well, what I -can- do now. I tried raiding yet given the rather low levy count I have most places have far too many guards to be raided... and there's the fact when I finally -was- given enough troops to raid a single province in the north, things... didn't exactly work out, and by that I mean it doesn't seem like I'm even capable of raiding northern lands (does it have to do with the wildling religion being a "heresy" of the northern one?)

So, now I'm king beyond the wall and I've conquered the wall, is there anything else I really can do? With my current levies I certainly wouldn't be able to take on the iron throne. I can't really raid and I can't conquer pretty much anything south of the wall. What do I do now? Is there some special event I missed out on?

If you hold the Wall for long enough as a Wildling you can get the Horn of Winter events which spawns a bonus stack of troops for you which is enough to attack southern territories with. Pick your moment though, wait until the Iron Throne is in a mega war and the LPs are split from it before trying to conquer them.

You can raid unprotected loot (anything right of the "wall"-icon on the province screen) anywhere with as many people as you want, if you carpet siege a whole bunch of provinces with like 100 men then they'll raid whatever isn't protected

Erm, what I'm wondering is how do I do that. I bring the troops over and what happens is that the wildlings just stand around and do nothing. Do I need to be at war first?

You need to set them as raiders, there should be a little crossed-torches icon when you select the army. You just click it, and they can raid.

Yeah, when I do that they just stand around in the province. No sieging or anything. Is this a bug or are their mechanics just different from vanilla raiding?

I know that this has been a problem for other groups before, and it has something to do with wildlings being part of the same "religious group" as the other westerosi faiths. I'm just wondering if there's some reason it's not working.

Beyond the Wall Old Gods shouldn't be of the same religion group as the regular Old Gods anymore. Do you have TOG expansion?

Yep, have TOG expansion and raiding works just fine there. Wondering if there's some major update for the wildlings that I missed or something like that. I got the mod two months ago so... if there's been some massive update for the wildlings between that time period and now, that may be the cause.

The mod got updated less than 2 months ago, so im guessing it has something to do with that.
