If you wait for a month into the 1914 scenario, you lose 60% of the socialists. This is a recurring bug for Vickie.

We have updated our Community Code of Conduct. Please read through the new rules for the forum that are an integral part of Paradox Interactive’s User Agreement.
WAD. At scenario start the POPs get assigned an ideolgy, I think it is thier default one. Then after a month the ideology is reclaculated based on factros like MIL, CON and issues. If you want to keep a large number of socialists then the POP files will have to be edited to define these at start.
