Latest playset 1.9.2.1. installed.

Played yesterday with no issues, some mods installed all have worked beautifully. Today I start the launcher and the first thing I notice only PLAY button is visible RESUME button is completely missing. Then I notice "initial playset" is selected. I check my playset and it is missing 7/10 mods and the three I had were supposed to be off but they were off. I add mods from my list to playset and start.


Opening menu doesn't give option to Load a game or continue - I press New Game and select 866 and try to create a new character - and use one of my old templates: load button is unavailable meaning all my old templates all my old saved games are GONE! Start a game as AI created character notice that some mods are not working - these were working yesterday.

So I panic and exit the game. Check the board If this is something that has happened to someone didn't see anything resent. Start doing the checklist. Started the launcher and check my playset. Playset was completely empty - nothing in it, not even the ones I just added.

Start the game in debug and try to go create a character but crash before seeing the map. Try again without the debug mode or any mods and crash at the same point. For starters give me folder locations where the created characters should be cause that is the thing I'm most worried about cause those would take hours to re-create.

My computer meets the recommended system reqs but its about 5 years old so wear and tear all over the place.

This is something related to OS. Basicly my computer has created a new desktop and most of the folders and stored stuff elsewhere and I found all my old files from other place. Can't really understand how or why this happened without giving me any kind of warning or notification or update.

EDIT: WIndows had created One Drive personal desktop, which had everything from yesterday on it (like everything including my personal files) and started using some local copy which had base game in it. Copied the game files from personal to local and everything is back to normal. Seems that the personal desktop also had hoi4 files aswell and the local doesn't have that at all.
