<SOLVED> M1 Max not able to start the game.

Hi. Just got my beast of a Mac laptop and was hoping to play the shit out of EU4 on it but turns out there is a major issue now. It starts with a black screen, plays the intro music for 2 seconds and then just quits. Is there something I need to do in some settings to get it working? Or is this really not working on the M1s? That would be a real bummer.

Technically speaking the game is not supported on M1 hardware, but other users have found it runs fine.

Is that black screen our launcher? Or that's okay and the black screen is the game itself?

OK seems I solved the problem - and was totally on my end. I restored my old computers contents to this new on and the files for EU4 were held in a Documents folder that was on Dropbox, but for this Mac it generated a new folder for Documents - and I guess there was some confusion where it would read the files. Got this sorted now. Get to finish my game now.
