Some MP Questions

Hi im playing HoI2 a while and the AI starts to bore me. So i decided to try this fabulous Game in MP. But there are some questions:

1. How can i meet other players? HoI2 has no Serverbrowser to find Games to join.

2. Is the MP Part stable to run?

3. What type of Games will be played? Scenarios or Campaigns?
Are mods used?

4. Is there anything ill have to know before starting a game?

I hope you guys can give me some answers to my humble questions.

1. Paradox games have a matchmaking service called ValkyrieNet. Players can host games there and other players can join them. You should see this under the multiplayer options when you start a game.

2. The quality of MP play varies with the speed of the connection. You need broadband or a LAN for best results.

3. Campaigns are preferred. The 38 campaign currently seems the most popular.

4. Online games take hours to play and so take some organising. See the other threads here for examples.

that is an understatement. if you have the time and the internet connection, then dont bother with single player.

Hello

Also i reccomend you to use some time on organizing them, or you will experience vnet, and not to speek bad about it, but there is a lot of half games there.
So my advis is use time in organizing, and play with pepole you trust and know, and let in a new man once in a while...
