Most job events have liege opinion modifiers for their factor. For positive outcomes, the rationale is that the council member will put in extra effort if they like you, and for some negative outcomes, it makes sense that they might deliberately try to sabotage your plan if they dislike you, but for a few disastrously negative outcomes this doesn't really make sense. I'm referring to the few "risk of death/injury" type of job outcomes. For example, a chancellor or spymaster who strongly dislikes me will have a higher chance of being found by local nobles while fabricating claim/stealing tech, and a priest who strongly dislikes me will be more prone to heathen attacks while preaching. The end result is that the more they dislike me, the more likely they'll risk their life for me, which really doesn't feel right. Maybe just remove the opinion modifier from these outcomes altogether?
