I noticed several minor flaws while playing with the Soviets.

- Some mechanised Guards have no icon
- The Great purge is not great at all, most leaders and tech teams survive
- Kalashnikov is in 2 times as tech team, both lvl 8 with different fields and pic!
- There are also 2 different mig companies after 1947.
- Unable to release DDR though I annexed Ger and hold most provices and Berlin
- No event after Germany's annexation fired
- Italy did not switch sides or anything - anyway I annexed them like any country.
- I had to accept axis minors into my alliance, have them conquered and then released in order to get the borders right. (Bulgaria, Romaina, Hungary)
- Tito's Yugoslavia should have some events to form (I've even seen them celebrate establishment of Yugoslavian kingdom while being a soviet puppet in 1947!)
- If I want to create post-WW2 Europe I have to release all countries manually AND with a specific order because with all these cores it becomes a huge mess
- The eastest Czechoslovakian province should become Soviet after the war - USSR should have cores all over it's "new" territories in 1945?

There are some more which I cannot remember atm but I will edit soon.

If anyone has anything similar to add regarding any country, please do so.

Also:
Some (not minor) countries have no minister cabinet for all types of government / I had Poland as puppet with fascist ministers :?
Vietnam has only 4 leaders.

Forgot to mention that I play IC over Arma.

This is due the starting year of the ministers. We have fixed in the upcoming patch
About vietnam leaders, if you have any suggestion of real leaders in the game era please post them here

We have added ministers/leaders to almost all of Vanilla countries. In addition we have added real ministers and leaders to the Armageddon nations (those with shadow ministers) and also have added about 80 new nations to the game, all of them with real leaders, ministers and tech teams.

Any suggestion to improve this huge database is more than welcome

"The eastest Czechoslovakian province should become Soviet "

Thats nonsense. Czechoslovakia has never been part of USSR. Until 1948 it was democratic country.

I released Poland as puppet in 1947.

This:

http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Carpathian_Ruthenia

is not nonsense to me.

There is the map

...and if I release Baltic states, they get 5 provinces in 4 separate locations because USSR has cores on other provinces.
But I think cores will be totally revised, because they are a mess.

I released Poland as puppet in 1947.
Then don't blame Iron cross for that because the Polish ministers remained untouched and are the vanilla ministers :)
Anyway it is very strange because Poland have a good list of ministers of all ideologies ... which country are you playing?

I dont think that Zakarpatská Rus - Carpathian Ruthenia was really part of Czechoslovakia. It was largely autonomic province..under czech administration. It has never been historical province of Czechs and they got it under their administration because "Hungary" lost in WW1. In addition in 1938 Czechoslovakia lost this territory to Hungary. Sure, after the war this was nullified because Hungary was with bad guys again. But to me its not Czechoslovakian province.

never! I consider myself a contributor to the perfection of a very good game. Therefore I report anything which bothers me while playing.

I released Poland as USSR - every remark on this game is from one big micromanaged game I started as USSR in 33.

BTW In older posts I mentioned about bad choices the German AI made - they had dozens of divisions sitting idle near Kiev while I was on my way from Riga to Berlin facing 0 units for a month and the Yankees were marching through France.

And about some provinces which are connected and should not be - In Sweden. Some others found about such "wormholes" in N.Italy and Japan IIRC

Thats quite typical for all HOI2 games. Germans cant manage two front war.

Well I noticed a big improvement concerning AI behaviour. It moved constantly around and tried to find my weak spots.
But leaving entire corridor for me empty was an unpleasant surprise.
Also:
German Air Force was non-existant - perhaps all squadrons were in Africa?
And my puppet Finnland does not research since 1944 - and it's 1950 now.
Japan has 110 IC and noone invades.
I made a mistake about Poland - only socialdemokrat ministers, not fascist ones.Shouldn't they all be Stalinist or at least Leninist?
+ There seem not to be any events for the Eastern block countries to replace their kings (Romanian Mihail and comrade Sax-Coburg!) and various heads of state?
I also think it's a petty there are no other generals for them. It would be weird if Antonescu commanded Romanian communist forces against US...

and Carpathian Ruthenia (Chust) should become Soviet!

Actually I belief the AI is quite good for a change. They respond quickly to threats and continue to seak to outflank and surround your units.

In my last round I brought the USS to less then 70 division by a series of surrounding them. I noticed the whole way to moscow and asia was open, but what I didn't notice that up north they broke through Finland and destroyed more then 70 divisions in a single punch. While it didn't slow me down (they had less then 70 divisions and I still had over 200 on the front) it was absolutely fabulous to see the AI actually damage me for once.

Still it is strange they didn't defend moscow, but in their defence, if they would have tried to defend the entire line they would be crushed. Instead they kept focusing their troops and trying to pick me apart. Even with the way open it took me more then 5 months to take moscow as I constantly had to redirect my troops to defend.
