Hello to all fellow city builders from San Francisco . I must say that I was really impressed after watching the live stream .Here are some of the things that i wanted to ask , give my personal feedback upon-(Sorry if i re-post something that's already been posted or talked upon)
Things I really like until now(I know this is alpha , and so much can / will change )
1-I really liked the look and feel of the city(I think it has a nice balance of realism and fun elements). I really like the little details they had in the video.A living, breathing city is a must for me. Don't want to build a dead and boring city.That being said , If they can , i would really like to see some more details in streets (graffitis, thugs,pets,birds,crime ,people, Farmers market , where vendors are yelling the prices , people getting out in a stretcher to the ambulance,protests parades,people fishing ,kids playing.(these are just suggestions and not my demands).
2-The size of the city.
3-The smoothness of camera view.The Colors of city(i don't like dull ,boring cities).
My queries are -
_For me , When i take huge amounts of time to build my city my , i don't want it to look like everyone else's dream or even my previous cities.Specially for me Landmarks and skyscrappers are the jewel of my crown, What sort of variety can i expect in that department (i was really disappointed with simcity 5 in their very limited amount of skyscrappers and landmarks. when i was going through the screenshots , i didn't see many skyscrappers , there were one or 2 but they were very generic and i saw in a screenshot , they were like 6 same looking swirling skyscrappers in one shot(thats very generic and boring) . I hope if future we will get different skyscrappers , specially since the game is named skyline .
2-It would have been real nice to see your downtown bright with lights and stuff in night , but i guess night /day cycle is not there.(maybe in future).
3-I would like to ask if there has culture or something related to that in game , Like if you build a chinese temple / or mosque , u suddenly see that district turning into eastern or middle eastern kinds of houses and stuff, that would be cool to have different distcist full of different kinds of building designs .
4-will be there be event like portest, parades, MAybe world cup or olympics , since we have tourism in the game .
Thank and looking forward to the game , Please make it a great one , so that i dont regret buying it like simcity.
