yes. I installed legion with my sony DVD. OK, then I try to play. Some opening credits then the black screen. Space bar sends me back to the desktop. Fortunitly if I put the CD in my Plexter RW it will do all that plus let me play the game. Unfortunitly the RW CD spins all the time. I have been reading posts for a while and DVD recognition was an acknowleged problem. Excuse my rant. I don't pirate but I allso don't like to screw with CopyProtection issues.
this is a copy protection problem and it is Strategy First who is responsible for this.
I would suggest you post on their board and complain about it.
After a while, maybe they'll stop screwing with that stuff Safedisc I/II or Sony Securom are equally worst. Securom would work on your drive but no on Toshiba drives I hate it.
To be fair, this is not Strategy Firsts fault. They will be able to talk you through how to fix it though, so if you contact their tech support they should be able to sort you out.
