This AAR is going to be a mix of storytelling, tactical explanation, and perhaps some crazy moves. Its purpose is to be a fun campaign which people can watch and where newbies can learn from, hopefully. Your comments and questions are welcome. I will be playing on Normal difficulty, with Random lucky nations. So here it goes!
Chapter 1: Securing the Imperial Border
King Albrecht IV, on October 14th 1399, decides to call his council. At the meeting, he describes to them that he wishes to make Burgundy's king a friend and ally of the Austrian kingdom. Although the councillors suspect further, nastier plans, they agree with him that Burgundy must be a friend to us. The next day, the king seeks out Jakob Casper, a local Grand Captain, and hires him. He does the same for an Army Reformer and a Commandant.
October 15, 1399: Other events of the day are 1) a military alliance with Portugal, and 2) a royal marriage with Burgundy.
October 17: Royal marriage with Brabant. Albrecht IV now knows his ultimate destiny - to become Emperor of the Holy Roman Empire!
