sound probs

I have started to get backround noise, static etc... from the music especially with the drums in the music, the drums are not coming over correct. seems like its breaking up or deteriating.

but when played out of the game from the folder with media player no probs.

tried original version and 1.03,1.03a & 103b still have the problem.

did not have it previously, reinstalled motherboard drivers (old & new), sound card drivers (old & new) and of course reinstalled the game 5 times.

does CK use a filter or program to access windows media or sound that could be causing this problem?

Okay let's try some standard things.
1) Rename the AVI folder to AVI_back
2) Set the color depth to 16BIT
3) Turn off everything in the background like E-mail/ICQ/Messenger, Virus protection and everything in the system tray beside the clock

For you especially #3 this is often the cause for this problem.
