I need to stop the game loading sound on startup, because that will crash the startup. How do i do that? My integrated soundcard is broken, and i cant afford a new one. Pretty much prevents me from playing any games.

Is it your motherboards integrated soundcard that's broken? If not, then try activating it.

It's integrated into mobo... Will have to buy a cheap one sometime, but that's going to take some time.

It may be enough to just rename the music and sfx folders, no need to delete anything.
If the OnBoard is broken make sure it's disabled in the motherboard Bios and it's drivers are uninstalled.

Is it broken with everything or just with HOI?
