Something very odd happened to me. I was playing the Germans and I had used every bloody man I had to go and conquer the Red Giant. It worked (mostly) and after a year or so Stalin gave up (bitter peace). So I pulled almost all of my forces away to the western front. But after just THREE weeks, the Soviets get the "German aggression in the Balkans can not be tolerated" event and start war again. With almost nothing. But it takes weeks to move the troops east again, and my whole fron collapsed.
My point? I would disable that event after the Bitter Peace has taken place...
