special installation instructions for mac?

I'm on a mac, and I just started playing this mod yesterday. It works (for the most part, I still have yet to apply recommended settings changes via constant crashes thread), but I was wondering because I'm on a mac, and windows directories ≠ mac directories, would someone be able to tell me how to execute the special installation instructions, for a mac os? I'm really not experienced at all in any coding, so i figure it would be better to ask then clumsily destroy my computer.

I don't think the special installation instructions apply to MacOS or Linux. MacOS has always been a 64 bit operating system, dating back to when it ran on Motorola chips, so I don't think it has the legacy 32 bit problems that Windows does.
