Based on the latest episode of show, so not sure if canon, but it seems likely

After watching the latest episode of AGOT, I'm almost shit sure of myself that Jon is Azor Ahai.
  1. Azor Ahai comes to fight Others in Winter.
  2. Jon is fighting Others in Winter
  3. Azor Ahai wields a blade tempered by his wife's heart, Lightbringer
  4. Jon Wields a valyrian blade that was tempered by his wife's love'n heart = Lightbringer
  5. Azor Ahai was a prince
  6. 100% belief in R+L=J, so Jon has kings blood = prince
  7. Which means now that he is resurrected, he is reborn as The Prince That Was Promised

Anyways, even before the totally unexpected resurrection *sarcasm*, Jon snow was the character most likely to be azor ahai, if there is one. The resurrection is only one of the many arguments for him being Azor .

And the theory of Mormont being Azor ahai was interesting, but I never took it seriously. Ser Jorah is a supporting character, not a main one

No need to adopt a superior tone there. Sure now that that Jon has more or less filled the requirements of the prophecy, its all so obvious.

Besides, GRR has a tendency to piss on destinies, and what seems obvious, by ending such expectations with a death

I didn't want to sound like using a "I know more argument" , but reading my post I did so yeah...I should have written it better. What I wanted to say is that even without this obvious resurrection (if boros could resurrect dondarrion 6 times, why couldn't Melisandre, a far more powerful priest , do it also?), Jon snow was the most probable candidate. Of course, knowing GRR it is very possible that the prophecy isn't 100% right and that there would be some variations of it

The show isn't really canon at this point, but I'd say it's confirmed he is Azor Ahai in the show. As for the books, we'll have to wait for the sixth book to see if Jon is really dead.

Godammnit, Jon is not Azor Ahai, Azor Ahai lived and died over 8000 years ago.
He has come again and shall unite Westeros against the others!
