How is it? I wouldn't think that it would have been made any worse by the patch process from what it used to be, but I hear there have been some serious instability issues with some MP games. Can you give me some more info?

We will have a game start tomorrow, so you should get all your information after that. But some things happened after 1.05 is out that seem to didn't do in the beta. One of them was a ctd when you send a message while you get a peace proposal. That caused several the last time we played Omni ad Deo Adaequatur. And no, it's not your mod that causes the trouble.

We had a couple crashes yesterday and the week before, but I can't really tell if it's a great deal more than before. I HAVE had more instability in SP, so it very well may be.

The game Mare Nostra, seems to have been very unstable, but I myself have been playing twice with 1.05 now and it didn't seem any bit more unstable than last 1.04b.

The Mare Nostra first (and probably last) session was very unstable. It is hard for me as CK MP fanboy to say that :(

At times we had a rather easy go, but at other moments we had several crashes. The host crashed only once though, but there were odd mass-crashes I haven't witnessed before, ie where only the host and one client did not crash (happened three times, and it was always a different client that did not crash); in 1.04 betas there were mass-crashes every now and then too, but I can't remember any case where the host *and one client* did not crash when all others crashed.

So the MP stability varies from good to absolutely dreadful. In a way it sounds like it has always been, though trying to track down why some have it more stable than others would be interesting.

Well I dunno about MP, but in SP I have yet to crash. Played 50years straight.
