Stable MP Group Needs Sixth Player

I represent a playing group of five players that is in need of a RELIABLE sixth player. Because of technical issues we need a player with broadband internet access. We've had a couple guys with dialup access try to play with us, but they just had too much lag. We're really not intending to be broadband snobs. HOI MP is plagued enough by bugs and lag with broadband........

We play on Monday, Tuesday and Thursdays, starting between 9:30 and 10:00 P.M. Eastern United States Time. We generally play until beween 12:30 and 1:00 A.M. We are currently in a game, but are looking for a player to start the next game with us. If our current game drags on, you are welcome to pick up a country just to try out the group and get to know us.

If you are interested, have those three time slots available, and are RELIABLE and LOYAL (i.e., will not ditch us for another game if we have a week where one player can't make it for important reasons like spring break vacations in Cancun), please PM me here for information.
 
I'm not offering to join, but just to let you know, i played a game tonight where i was the only dial up player (3 player game) and the cable player who wasn't hosting was getting lags and i as the dial up player wasn't.

It seems to depend as much on computer power and location as it does on connection.
 
I usually can, though sometimes I cant get off work until 10:30-10:45 pm est ( usually 1 in 3 of those days, sometimes none depends on if im scheduled to close then )

Also what countries are available? I tend to like UK and Italy the most, though anything is fine.

That late would pretty much kill that day for us. It generally takes 45 minutes to actually get in the game from the time you start trying, so if we can't start til 10:45, that means 11:30 before we are playing.......

As for countries, we have not begun the process of selecting countries for the next game, so you would have full participation in the process. We each submit prioritized choices then work out the conflicts. It's worked pretty well for us.
 
I would love to play MP with a large group. I have phone line DSL, which is not as fast as cable (sometimes) but very consistent.
I can play any weeknight from 1830-0000EST, and weekends are usually open (unless I'm swilling ale:D). I'm willing to play any country (not very exp. with minors though). I just hope that there is not unlimited tech trading.(although I'd give it a shot):)

PS. Located in Southern Ontario, Canada

PPS. I know I have to install an unmodded game, but do mods work if everyone has the same one? Is there one you use?
