Already reported here, but paradox tells me that thread is too old so it's not bumping it up

forum/threads/staff-getting-stuck-on-serving-tables-in-staff-room-staff-wont-use-toilets.1541343/

That bug wasn't fixed yet, 15 months later. When it will be fixed?

And I was thinking I will buy Cities Skylines 2 on release day. Not happening - will play it on another platform if it will be available.
Even bugs I reported more than 12 months ago have never been fixed, nor did I get a response here at the forums. PA is a broken game. If you prefer the last known good and stable PA from Introversion, get it on GOG and reject the Paradox EULA. Yes, many features are missing, but the game isn't broken at least.

I have tried every possible setup - serving tables inside staff rooms or separate staff canteens, all linked up properly with kitchens, stocked up with food as well as clean trays, yet some staff members eat while others get stuck grabbing a tray and never sit down. There are plenty of empty places to eat (dining booths / sofas / tables & benches - it doesn't seem to make a difference). This effectively makes the game unplayable because all I do is babysit the staff instead of focusing on the prisoners. This makes me incredibly unlikely to ever buy anything else from the same company, which is a shame.

I have the same problem too. Now I just disable the Staff Needs, sadly. And yes, this issue still exist. And even worse, they "throw" their trays all over the prison, mostly near the room where they supposed to bring those trays into sinks. Because of there are no trays available in serving table for them, the game auto purchases new set of trays. I have to manually dump all of those leftover trays to clean up the place myself. But can't fix the problem.

Hi mate. I have reported this in the past, but unfortunately it has never been fixed. However, I have found a workaround which is explained in the threads below. If you show me a screenshot of your staff canteen and staff area, I can tell you, why it's not working. Again, it's just a workaround, but you can still play with staff needs enabled without breaking the game.

I have reported many game breaking bugs in the past years (including this one) and also expalined, how to reproduce it step by step. Guess what? To most of those reports I never got a response by Paradox Staff (despite the complaints I filed at their ticket system) and none of those game breaking bugs have been addressed in any bug releases or any of the new DLCs in all those years. It's really frustrating, because the game is really good and I was playing it for many years (more than 1000 hours).

The bottom-line is, I would never buy a game again, that is sold by Paradox.

PS: If you still want to enjoy the good old Prison Architect before it was sold to Paradox, get it on GOG and reject the Paradox EULA / license contract. All the new features are missing though, but at least the game is not broken.
