We have already started this game and it is up to July 1939.
Well as Italy I do not have as much to do and reliant on Germany doing a good job. El Duce is a bit concerned with the new leadership in Germany and weather it can fight the good fight against an experienced UK player.
The only problem Ive got is these damm sliders will not budge at all which is hurting me. Italy will not be able to do much stuck on 116 IC.

Germany will be more then ready for war with the Allied scum, as Il Duce' will soon see. I have played against some good UK players before, and some not so good ones. Either way, win or lose, it's a good change from bloody Japan . Also. I think Italy's sliders should be edited, over $3500 spent on influencing Mike by me over the course of the last 2 sessions for not a single slider move change. I literally tried every thing, changing foreign minister to Ribbentrop, gamey lag influencing, absolutely nothing worked. Then I try and influence Romania and Bulgaria a half dozen times each for an 80 percent success rate, so something must definately be wrong. Cyall tonight. SE.

Belgium supply issue seems to correct when the game is loaded is SP. They start to trace supply from Paris. I dont think the AI recognise that the Belgium capital moves soon after German DOW. Interested to see if it corrects when we restart the session. A simple fix is to add 5000 supplies into Ghent. Either way I will do a test load with Mike to se if it corrects in MP and we may not have to do anything.

Italy looks on with Alarm
Rome September 1939.
El Duce looked on the European map with glee on the prospects of a German war vs the Western Allies. How could Italy take advanatage of such a situation. El Duce would let the wars progress dictate any actions Italy may take advanatage of.
Secret cables were sent to berlin to outline a general strategy for Italian war entry and war aims. Italy possed secret intel on how the UK may fight any war and advised the German high command accordingly.
However Hitler knew better and launched a foolish operation to try and secure Iceland. Even after El duce had warned Hitler long ago that the UK would be wise to such a move. The Duce prefered for Germany to keep its fleet in a safe place until the time was right. The time was not right when faced with the full might of both the UK and French navies facing only Germany. El Duce adivsed the German Naval command to bide there time until france was defeated and Italy was close to war, Germany would then only face perhaps 1/3 the naval forces arrayed against it at present. Then operations oculd be lauched with an even larger German fleet facing smaller forces.
El Duces information was ignored and operations against Iceland were commenced. Although many british ships were lost an Entire German fleet was sunk. All the divisions aboard and the ones that landed on iceland were destroyed or surrendered.
Make no mistake this is a disaster of epic proporations for Germany. I have never seen Germany lose so much so early in any conflict.
I hope in future Hitler will take the Duces advice on what actions his enemies will take and what sort of action germany should embark on. El Duce predicted this a number of years ago, truely notramdamus of our time.
The Duce now see's Germany as the lesser power in the Axis alliance. Italy will have to take the lead and deal crushing blows to the Allies if this war is to last beyond 1941. That is if Italy see any advantage to joining the losing side of a war.
It is yet to be seen if Germany can even take France. If Germany cannot take france then Italy will never join the war and will have to take a different course to achieve its aims.
One can only hope the Hitler in all his madness comes to his sense as he is staring down the barrel of defeat and the war is only a few months old.

In doing so we also delivered a defeat to the UK by sinking 3 BB's, 1 CV, 3 CVL (IIRC) along with a number of heavy cruisers and light cruisers. The first UK fleet could not do the job and quickly after large detachements of the UK and French fleets arrived proving that the allied fleet is nothing but a bunch of Aboriginals, can't do shit unless they outnumber you 20 to 1. Besides, a bigger and better German fleet is already rolling off the production line as the UK sits there and gloats of it's decisive victory over a smaller force with it's overwhelming odds.
German infantry corps with light armour support and assistance from our Hungarian allies, launched an unexpected attack on the French Maginot line which was co-ordinated by German Bunker Buster specialists which resulted in minimal loss of manpower and victory. The allies were quickly thrown into a scramble in order to try and cover the breach in the allied front lines. It appears that the entire Canadian, Belgium, French and British armies are now situated in France were Il Duce says they intend to stay for the winter. We look at the allies and laugh. They need half the navies of the world to take down our small German navy, and they need half the armies of the world to try and stop our armed forces. It was rumoured that Air Marshall Goering was overheard saying "Come 1940 Mein Fuhrur, our Messerschmidts will be so numerous that they will block out the sun hence plunging the allies nations into eternal darkness. Just swap army for navy and you get my drift. 30+ Brand new Axis ships and 6 divisions for a bunch of junk the UK starts with counts as a decisive UK victory.
