what is the start date. I personally think it should be early 1900's to include the japan-russo war and the two balkans wars.

The start date is January 1914. This may with playtesting be moved back to May if the game becomes too deviant.
1900 would be nice but would involve way too much work (events, leaders, tech, etc.) for one mod.

Indeed, a 1900 start would allow for the possibility of Sir Redvers Buller commanding British troops in the 1920s, and other bizarre scenarios.
And the Russian's might win the Russo-Japanese war, or someone else might intervene. The Germans might intervene in the South African War. The Morroccan crisis might successfully split the entente and Earl Kitchener of Khartoum might become PM!
There are just too many options.
Alto i would like to see Balkan wars in this mod i think the game should start from 1914.There is just too much events...Maybe in some later version.
