Starting a game with Hamachi...

ok my buddy and I have downloaded Hamachi and got into the same room now how do we begin a game of HOI2? we tried Local area, but his comp says no games available and then we tried Internet and he put in my IP address that Hamachi gave me, and that didnt work...we are so frusterated!

Please Help
 
it doesnt matter he may be even in antarktica , in hamachi you should see if there is green or yellow bulb. If it is yellow you should enable "use low bandwith relays for unreachable peers" in preferences , then there should appear arrow form indication instead of bulb in hamachi. You should be able to join the game with him then.

do i use Lan or Internet to connect to a game using hamachi? and if i use Internet do we use the Host's Ip address?

Once you have established a connection via hamachi you use "LAN". hamachi acts as a virtual private network meaning that anyone connected to you via hamachi is on your LAN.

Ok, he was able to join my hamachi network but we were unable to connect to a game using "LAN" and our firewalls were off. Im not sure what the hell is going on, we have played HOI2 countless times and for some reason he cant connect to Valnet or Internet, and now it seems hamachi doenst work, on my side of the deal im able to connect to valnet and Internet.

Please help were dying to play
