Starting a new game or loading a save game causes computer to restart

Hi,

I bought this game through steam, however after managing to start one new game successfully, I am now unable to load the savegame or start a new game without my computer crashing completely and restarting. My system is well above recommended requirements and I have tried verifying cache, changing in game visual settings to minimum, and even tried completely removing all traces of the game and redownloading it from steam. Very frustrating. Game is up to date as per steam autoupdater. Any help would be appreciated...

Hi, are you sure that KA2 is the only game that causes this problem?
