Steam and HOI2.

I don't get the Steam thing.

I expected a cd/game box. Instead I get some codes to enter into the Steam platform.

And there is no “Add Product On Steam” selection under the Steam "Games" menu as directed by the email which said >>> Activate your product by logging in to your Steam account, then click the “Games” menu and choose “Add Product On Steam”.

I bought HOI 2 years ago and loved the game. I wanted to start up again, but no longer have the cd or game box. So I ordered HOI2 Complete to get started again. I got my Order Number and my HOI2 Complete 15 character code. I guess I'm supposed to enter these into the Steam platform.

I created the Steam account, but like I said. Your instructions don't match the Steam site.

Sounds like you didn't download the Steam client. From the Steam webpage you should see "Install Steam" on the upper right side of the page

Let me try to help you as a little thank you.

CommanderC, go to http://steampowered.com and then press "Install Steam" up on the top of the site, this is the steam client which you need to run the game.

When you have installed steam and logged in with the information you already registered you should see this screen:

Up top you have "Games" tab, open it and you have the activation, see below:
