Steam Multiplayer Error (DEMO)

When trying to create a game in the Naval War: Arctic Circle Demo both I and a friend is unable to create a multiplayer game via steam since an error occurs:

STEAM ERROR
Failed to create lobby (k_EResultAccessDenied)

Is there a workaround or will there be some kind of fix for this?

I've tried waiting a few days but it still doesn't work :/
Has anyone gotten the Demo MP to work?
