Please explain your issue is in as much detail as possible.
When you activate ambitions, you don't pay its maintenance cost.
It was a quick console test, rather than a legit gameplay though.

Steps to reproduce the issue.
Activate any ambition.

Yeah, the edict fund still shows 0/150.

Yup, same here, they don't even cost a one-time payment.

same here, they are all free, also if you unlocked the Living Metal Mega-Construction edict, it can be activated even there is no enough living metal, and it is effective to provide a 50% bonus on mega-structure build speed.

Can confirm, the same thing happens to me. I am not sure if it affects Nanite Actuators though.
