Please explain your issue is in as much detail as possible.
I cloned a crystalline entity space fauna with the mutation "fissile cores", that mutation is supposed to create two temporary smaller versions of the crystalline entity upon death of the original to continue the fight. when testing my new creation against both marauder empire stations and the infinity machine (just anything I could attack really), the entities just died without creating 2 new ones to fight in their place. I watched the entire battle in slowest speed and tested with fleets of just 1 entity and fleets of multiple. The mutation never did anything.

The idea was to create self replicating mines, I also had the mutation "Catalytic Bladder" installed and 4 Neutronium Carapaces so that upon death the crystal would explode and create two more "mines" that would also explode, sadly the Catalytic Bladder also did nothing, I will create a separate bug report about it but maybe it has to do with these two being on the same ship.

Steps to reproduce the issue.
create a crystalline entity space fauna with the fissile cores mutation and the catalytic bladder mutation installed, then fight an enemy and watch the mutations do nothing. in my save file 2 of these crystalline entities are fighting the infinity sphere and one is about to die so you can just see it there.
