Game crashing on specific date, Mac OS Pyxis v3.10.0 checksum 462c

Please explain your issue is in as much detail as possible.
Cannot progress past a specific date, before that date was 01/01/2255 but I was able to progress 4 days past that before it crashed to desktop again. On that date I had a communication intercepted by another alien and they popped up to begin diplomacy. That may have been the event previously causing the crash, but now it happens regardless. I keep seeing this error but not sure if relevant "[eventtarget.cpp:2585]: Undefined event target: shroud_country, location: file: events/nemesis_crisis_endgame.txt line: 862"
Steps to reproduce the issue.
Load save file, wait until the beginning of year 2255. If you make it past 01/01/2255 wait a few more days for the crash.
