Stellaris having a unique problem

So, I try to start Stellaris as you do, and it launches. But, from the loading screen onwards, it sticks to one frame until I press the windows button and reenter at whitch point it is on the next frame. I hope this makes sense. Also, it seems to be graphical only, I still hear the music. Please help, I love this game to bits and can't play one frame at a time.

Not a problem with the forums, so moved appropriately.

Not at all a unique problem - in the game launcher please set Display mode to Borderless.

That will probably fix it all by itself.
