Please explain your issue is in as much detail as possible.
I am playing a Devouring Wilderness. The game date was 2225. I had recently captured the last of my neighbor's planets. I installed a new sector governor. While zooming out to inspect the new sector or soon after I received a message saying I had lost the game. The task bar showed all of my planets gone.

I played a second game using the same build. I did not perform any conquest.. I clicked on something, I don't remember what but it wasn't a governor this time. I only had three systems, and purchased something with biomass while observing a planet I was intending to colonize.
