Do you have mods enabled?
No

Please explain your issue is in as much detail as possible.
It doesnt unlock megasctures research option when picked. i cannot resolve this issue and its affecting gameplay.

Can you scroll down the research list? I believe in 2.2 the Megastructures are supposed to be given as a research option.
