Description
Nanite Ship fittings

Game Version
V3.12.5 (9a6f)

What version do you use?
Steam

What expansions do you have installed?

Do you have mods enabled?
No

Please explain your issue is in as much detail as possible.
When creating multiple fits for nanite ships the game will automatically change one fitting to another and show that fleets need to upgrade to the other fit. Thus every time i have 2 ship fittings for the swarmer or the interdictor it will tend to change all of those fleets to just 1 of the fittings and will give the icon for an upgrade and change them.

Steps to reproduce the issue.
Make 2 fittings for a nanite ship, create a fleet for each type, wait, possibly for a new tech to upgrade, and one fleet will just change its fitting.

Same Problem with the Nanite Interdictor class. auto genarate and auto upgrade off or on hase no influence to the problem in my case. Also the fllet manager will count all nanite interdictor ships in a fleet as one class even if there am more classes of this shiptype in a fleet. makes it difficult to compensate losses after a battle or change the composition of a flleet when the fleet capacity rises

Logged in here to submit this bug, so I'm glad it's already been reported. This has been happening since Machine Age first came out - I thought it might have been fixed with changing the nanite deposit accumulation mechanic, but apparently not.

Haven´t played in a while and wanted to check in an older save if this Bug ist still there after several big updates in the meaantime. The Bug still exists in the old save, haven´t tried in a new playthrough though.

If it still there wil itl ever be adressed? Or Do Nanite Ascended have to deal with only one design per class?

playing Nanite empire right now, bug is still there, WTF is Paradox doing? This is a bug that really does need to be addressed because it does effect gameplay directly!

Confirming that this bug is still hanging around in 4.0.4. Kinda lame and disappointing that this really cool and unique play style focused on unique ships is crippled by not being able to properly manage those ships, and that it's stayed this way since the Machine expansion was added :/

Same here, in 4.0.22. I have some undersatanding for bugs when you release a new version. But this has been since a year back. And not even a response from Paradox. It is a game breaking (at least for a nanite build) bug or at least extremly inconviniant
