Stellaris not starting

I bought this game on Steam last night, but the game failed to start.

I have tried everything that I have found in this forum & others. I still get the red triangle come up on the game launcher.

I have:

- updated all drivers
- checked it's not an anti virus issue
- downloaded & installed
Microsoft Visual C++ 2010 Service Pack 1 Redistributable Package MFC Security Update
Microsoft Visual C++ 2015 Redistributable Update 3 RC
DirectX End-User Runtimes (June 2010)
- verified integrity of game files on Steam
- complete clean uninstall (including deleting Steam/SteamApps/common/Stellaris AND Documents/Paradox Interactive/Stellaris folders)
- add stellaris.exe to the exceptions list of your antivirus app; ESPECIALLY if you have Windows Defender, add it to the Ransomware "Apps Allowed Through" list.

I literally don't know what else to do. Please help as I really want to play this game.

Please not there was no
Paradox Interactive/Stellaris/logs/ folder, attach here system.log , error.log
or
Documents/Paradox Interactive/Stellaris/settings.txt
files to attach.

And run the x86 and x64 installers there.

If that doesn't help, what happens if you run stellaris.exe directly from File Explorer? Any Windows error show then?
