Please explain your issue is in as much detail as possible.
I save a space fauna design, it doesn't save. I save a design with the same name as the autogenerated design, and the autogenerated design disappears! The issue's that simple, annoyingly.
However, as i was writing this, i went back to double check -- and the damn issue had fixed itself!
Screenshot shows me trying to save a design after it started working again, and it randomly decided to stop again

Steps to reproduce the issue.
Play Beastmasters.
Research Controlled Mutations.
Attempt to design a custom set for your amoeba
Suffer [maybe]

Investigating a little further -- there's absolutely NO extra growth stage for the Amoeba. I think this is what's causing the issue?
It's not in the ship designer at all.

Yeah. My fauna ships aren't growing at all despite having 10/40 fleet capacity
