So I read the patchnotes for the 1.0.1 hotfix and it says "Improved performance issues and fixed issues with stuttering in early game".https://forum.paradoxplaza.com/foru...checksum-4d15-not-for-problem-reports.928210/ Unfortunately the game Ive been playing since release is now solidly in the mid-game and is still stuttering horribly every in-game day. Forums I've read before 1.0.1 say that the stuttering had nothing to do with your hardware, but does the fact that its still stuttering say there is something I can do on my side? If not, will there be anymore hotfixes that deal with this mid-game stuttering? Is it because I've been playing this save since before the hotfix?

Oh and on a side note, for some reason I just cant choose a avatar for my profile, I pressed the button to choose an avatar but it doesn't look like there is any "accept" button to confirm the selected picture as my avatar

Any help anyone can give is very appreciated!:)

Well, the first hot-patch did clear up the early game stutter I was getting at launch which made the game unplayable. With the beta .3 patch I feel like there were some enhancements, but the game still becomes a mess mid-late game. The frame-skipping and overall framerate really hurt the game. On observing the various topics and discussions on the issue, it is widespread enough that I doubt it is any deficiency on your end in terms of hardware. That is, of course, if you meet/exceed the recommended system requirements.

I suspect the only thing you can really do is wait for a patch that provides fixes/optimisations to the issue, as I am yet to find any user fixes.

OK, well at least I dont have to worry about getting a new computer or any thing. Thanks!

Hello, I thought there could have been a pinned post about this but not the case.

I have read in the latest Dev Diary that PDX thought they resolved the main stuttering issue with the hotfixes.... However, I also experience stuttering in Mid/Late game.

I am running Windows 7 / Intel Core i5-440 2 x 3.1GHz / 8 GB RAM / Nvidia GTX 970 / game on my SSD drive.

I believe I am meeting the "recommended" requirements.

Where should I go for more help ? Love the game but the stuttering is lessening a lot the experience.
