After a long time reading other peoples AARs I have decided to attempt one of my own, while it may be hard for me to get mine out in a timely manner as I am purely making this from scratch however all the empires I have made in stellaris I use in my games that I play, I am SUPER new to all this writing so I do ask that you please bare with me as I learn even though English is my first language and I speak it well, my writing skills are terrible and hopefully they will improve as the AAR continues. The AAR will pull from all kinds of Sci-Fi we have now ranging from star trek to the Warhammer 40k universe, whilst the references may be obvious I hope they merge seamless into the story for you all to enjoy. Anyway thank you for reading and I hope you enjoy.
Chapter One: Meeting
Monak Toros
waited patiently as the senate officials took their seats within the chamber, as she looked around at the various ambassadors from other space faring empires taking a good look at them and their names on their name plates in front of her from left to right.

The Interstellar Taalu Combie representative Fronds of Silver
The Fareen United Suns representative Mikaba
The Necrosian Sacred Union representative Deyon
The Democratic Drakun Realms representative Ippi-Ki-Ki
The Novanitan Assembly representative Osi Trex
The Squill Commerce Guild representative Keross
The Irenic Regellian Accord representative Tagglaro
The Royal Catkin System representative Siga, Daughter of Kori
As the room falls silent Monak Toros stands, clears her throat and begins to speak...
Greetings members of the Republic Senate she began as you are all currently aware within the alpha sector we have found a dig site along our outer rim of the galaxy that we are attempting to begin an expedition to and have decided that it should be a joint effort to further bring our species together.
She pauses for a moment to inspect the faces of the senate members before continuing.
In the dossiers you were given in your chambers before coming it details the cost of the expedition and what specialists may be required if anything is found at the site and a record of what the science vessel IEK Jal Hattat found on a visual scan.
Some of the senate members begin to look over the dossier with interest and a few other hand it to their nearby aids to read as they keep their focus on her. She presses a button on the controller on the table in front of her and the room darkens and a bright hologram lights up the room showing the remains of a battle site involving two melee forces.
So why does any of this concern us? Siga announced.
That might be why it concerns us. Osi Trex spoke up, as the hologram zoomed into the planet to show the remains of a skeleton that is similar to what saved Elvanii Kingdom from the demons in the distant past.
This is the first time we have physical proof that the Angels that saved my species long ago are not a myth that our ancestors made up, as we can all agree that all of our pasts are not well recorded at all with only fragments being understood or believed.
Whilst she continues to speak Osi Trex leans over to one of his aids and whispers something and the aid immediately leaves the room at a face pace.
So why do you need any assistance with this? Deyon said in a slow steady voice.
Because the Republic is about friendship and cooperation between species and we are hoping that we can discover who these beings were, there is a good possibility that they might have been the first to colonise the galaxy.
If that were true we would have found evidence of that by now wouldn't we? Kon Ron Avel asked.
That might not entirely be true. Tagglaro states, As on my home world due to no one living on it for centuries the remaining infrastructure is no longer their as it was claimed by the elements, An example for your home world would be a tectonic shift that collapses a mine, If you were not their to fix it it would remain lost and possible undiscovered for centuries and if discovered centuries later it would be unrecognisable.
Whilst explaining to the other senate members how it might be impossible to tell who came before depending on the amount of time that passes, Osi Trex’s aid returns and whispers something to him whilst handing him something to which he nods in return before grabbing the room's attention.
Mr. Tagglaro He interrupts
I do apologise for interrupting you but I believe this information is needed.
Taggalor bows his head respectfully.

Osi Trex turns to the rest of the room
On our home world during our earlier years we explored our world much like the rest of you did, whilst exploring one of the caves systems on our southernmost continent we came across this.
He plugs a data shard into the console in front of him and the image changes to the remains of a skeletal being clad in thick armour with a feathered helmet, some gasps can be heard in the room along with some hushed whispers.
We found the skeletal remains of two unknown species, one of them looks like it might match your “Angel” so there is a good possibility that they are real.
And the second? Fronds of silver asks.
Osi Trex presses a button on the console and it changes image to the remains of an eight legged jet black armoured carapace
We found this armoured carapace next to the remains of the skeleton.
A few of the senate members shuffle in their seats at the sight of the carapace and its large size.
From the damage we found on the carapace, we matched it to the broken weapon we found next to the skeletal remains, our researchers speculate that their battle was massive due to the damage to the surrounding cave area, The armour that the skeletal remains were wearing are of an unknown alloy that we have yet to even find in the galaxy, it is incredibly dense and strong, and we had to wait until we developed better technology to lift it from the ground
The hologram shows the armour and a broken sword next to the skeletal remains before freezing on the shield in which a eagle clutching something in its claws can be seen, which in turn causes the Teraturian representatives to stand up in shock
Impossible! Hask’Loros states, his aid standing next to him in shock.

One of the aids speaks as Hask’Loros is too awestruck to answer.
In the earlier years of our species it was recorded that demons fell from the sky, A great host was formed to fight them and a huge battle took place, during the fighting the Leader of the host wounded the Demon leader however it done little so slow the demon down, then suddenly Angels came to help, One of our historians of the time managed to copy the the markings that adorned their armour and it is the same as on that shield.
Silence falls on the senate room for a few minutes.
So… Monak Toros states. Do we have your support to proceed with this as a joint venture?
