Description
v4.0.13 (9024) - Wilderness Pops Disappearing

Game Version
v4.0.13 (9024)

What version do you use?
Steam

What expansions do you have installed?
All

Do you have mods enabled?
No

Please explain your issue is in as much detail as possible.
Wilderness pops disappear leaving loads of empty jobs in an empire where empty jobs shouldn't exist.

Steps to reproduce the issue.
No idea. I think it's related to either genetic modification or Mycorrhizal Ideal creating Bloomed pops as a variant.

please fix this... it make wilderness totaly unplayable...

it has already been reported and confirmed multiple times :

I too am experiencing this. I do not have Mycorrhizal Ideal nor have I gene-modded my pops. I did integrate some Nu-Boal pops recently but they are no longer in my species list. They disappeared.

What happened is you spent Biomass, for some reason the game spends Biomass randomly and can even take pops working real jobs and not only Pliable Bomass, to a minimum of 1.
With 1 pop your colony will have tiny growth and wont recover in a reasonable time.

To workaround this, favorite the Broodsymbiont job. This way when the colony only has 1 pop left it can still grow a few pops to repopulate.

Thank you for this, just yesterday restarting a game as wilderness (my save from previous patches has all sorts of weirdnesses so I started over) I noticed this behaviour, and that also explains the reason WHY I see my economy randomly in shambles only to get fixed the day after: it's because when I use biomass to expand or build upgrades, it doesn't necessarily pick directly from Pliable Biomass but it takes biomass at random, also employed Biomass, causing weird economy fluctuations.

Also, when you cancel such jobs (yesterday I queued some buildings having just less than 10 biomass available to spend) it doesn't redistribute the Biomass on your planets, so I had my capital practically empty and the two colonies with ample extra biomass.
