Description
Voidworm Plague Event has wrong fleet power. Early game year 2236; 46,000 fleet power of worms!

Game Version
V3.14.15 (dee9)

What version do you use?
Steam

What expansions do you have installed?
Plantoids, Humanoids, Synthetic Dawn, Utopia, Leviathans Story Pack, Apocalypse, Megacorp, Distant Stars, Ancient Relics, Lithoids, Federations, Necroids, Nemesis, Aquatics, Overlord, Toxoids, Galactic Paragons, Astral Planes, Season 8 Expansion Pass, The Machine Age, Cosmic Storms, Grand Archive

Do you have mods enabled?
No

Please explain your issue is in as much detail as possible.
I haven't ever used mods in this game, this is just the base game with DLC and Season 8 pass (except first contact). Cosmic storms DLC is installed but is disabled (by user).

This is the early game so this fleet seems impossible to deal with. The game claims there is some kind of void worm plague; but I have not yet seen a single voidworm in my sector; so I'm assuming this is some kind of map wide event being triggered by another empire?

As I said: no voidworms in my sector, but there is a nearby wormhole, from which now comes a MASSIVE voidworm fleet. Three entire worms. 46,005 fleet power.

....

They put my neighboring AI to shame:

1) Militant Xenophobe: ~3500 FP.
2) Fanatical Purifier: ~6500 FP.

And my own forces:

Starbase: Hanger platforms: ~7000 FP.
Fleets: up to ~4000 FP.

....

Game settings:

Admiral difficulty mid-game scaling.
Mid-game Year: 2250
End-Game Year: 2300
Current Year: 2235

All-crisis 2.5x setting (2.5, not 25x).
It's not even the mid-game yet.
Paradox pls... this run was already a rare challenge; and I'm very sad for it to end because of some random void bugs.

Steps to reproduce the issue.
1) Play game as normal, having a worm hole system nearby.

2) Somewhere in the galaxy; "Voidworm plague" event is triggered.

3) Titan class Voidworms from god knows where, loving to use wormholes, come to visit. They have absolutely absurd fleet power values considering the year you are in, and want to destroy your planets.

4) Suffer because the game is bugged :( It's not even the mid-game year!

5) ??? (I will continue this save tomorrow).

Their fleets grow from bombing planets. Maybe this one already took out 1-2 worlds before? The only way to beat that is gravity spheres, lots of gravity spheres.
And u do not have to capture all 46k. There is usually only 1 (sometimes 2) troika in it. Once all troika got catched the worm fleet turns into a paper tiger. It stops bombing and flys home. To never be seen again (unless u attack their nest).

Yeah I had this crisis spawn in early game as well, immediately after the Galactic Community started forming, So we didn't even have any resolutions passed before we ended up having to do a Galactic Focus on the void worms. Worst is the Voidworms had multiple voidworm Fleets of 39K fleet power when not a single empire had fleets big enough to counter them. I only had 3 fleets each of about 7k fleet power, and had yet to even research tier 3 armor or even battleships. All my fleets got decimated even when I had tried to move them in together to stack them, and I had the ascension perk that is supposed to give me a 33% bonus to damage against the voidworms. This crisis is just decimating me and every single empire in the galaxy.

Had a 4.0.4 game wrecked in 2251 by the voidworm crisis just after I barely survived a fanatic purifier attack in 2230. I am turning this option off as I guess this is not on the immediate to-do list of PDX.

EDIT:

Oops, I set the mid game to start waay to early (2250). Not sure how that happened LOL
